My sense is that in every region there are at least 2 or 3 will be open to a really new idea.

Just a hint, every printer I know gets approached three times a week with, “wouldn’t it be great to x…” It might be a bit hard to break through the well earned cynicism. Coming on with the brand of the local University or Newspaper could make a big difference.
