Maybe it's not going to turn out as risky as we might first think. My opinion is that it's never been the content, but the selection, editing and delivery logistics that is the real value. It will be interesting to watch. Josh Benton did a post about “the Ohio News Organization, a collaborative in which the state’s major papers freely share their stories (and now their photos and graphics) with one another.”

Maybe it’s not going to turn out as risky as we might first think. My opinion is that it’s never been the content, but the selection, editing and delivery logistics that is the real value.

It will be interesting to watch.
