Excellent recap, excellent example of Johnson's news ecosystem. Fits my Content Cascade description as well. To both models, we should add one more layer, "meta-reporting" such as you've done here. In this case, the whole cycle happened in four hours, which is about the time a traditional reporter was allotted to cover, write and file one story.
