This piece definitely scores a touchdown! The Hou Chron video reminds of the growing attempts by other sports groups to impose Draconian limits on the media --- such as with New Jersey scholastic sports. Basically, the spoils go to the highest media bidder. But, oops, the rights for public events aren't actually put up for public bid. Sweatheart deals are cut with the big guy, and everyone else is supposed to wait and sweep up after the game.

What is the current rule? I'm getting conflicting stories from the league and the network, and I'm having trouble sorting it out.
