The liteary/poetic tradition in N.J. is comprised by people like William Carlos Williams and Allen Ginsberg; the rock n'roll/poetic tradition is another animal altogether. I don't think Bruce would read at the Dodge Foundation poetry festival. Poets 'read' their work; rockers sing them. I realize it's odd that the original Greeks sung classical poetry with little guitars; but the tradition has split into two distinct streams, in my view.
