		<description>I like the concept of &quot;freemiums&quot;. There&#039;s increasing competition for services offered online, the two logical business models are to offer freemiums to gain users and charge for exclusive services down the track, or to gain profit off their usage and keep the service free.

I&#039;m more in favor of the 2nd model</description>

As a journalist who&#039;s also worked the marketing/advertising end of things, I find the idea of a multi-platform delivery strategy to be hugely important. It&#039;s as if editors have to start thinking like SM types, and SM types (including the ad people) have to start understanding more about journalism.

Let&#039;s hope more conversations between the camps take place as the year progresses.</description>
