One of the noteworthy aspects of the project is the potential it has to bridge the teaching/scholarship divide in j-schools. This is not a project designed as a teaching tool per se; it's about discovering and testing new ways to do news. In that sense it's applied R&D in a way that j-schools haven't done as much of until recently. Bravo to NYU for hosting it and to all those involved. Seth — Thanks for doing this interview.
