If you want a new look home but can't afford to
move house then external cladding can give your home a makeover and create a
modern or traditional finish. The smart, angular board used in cladding can be
lined up to create a paneling effect on your home which will give it a modern
style. <a href='http://www.external-cladding.co.uk' rel="nofollow">External Cladding</a>

The important point is that Apple keeping flash off the iWhatevers doesn't have anything to do with system resources and closed systems. They're doing it because they want to keep customers dependant on theApp Store.

Does Apple really dictate what content you can VIEW? or does it merely dictate what content it will personally publish?

Every iPhone has a web browser. The blocked app in question doesn't seem to be much more than a trumped up jpg/movie loader. I am almost certain that there aren't any technical reasons why a web app couldn't be developed for it. That web app would be just as accessible as any iPhone app.

If the App store was the only way that political cartoons could be viewed on the iPhone, that would be censorship. If Apple's decision made it significantly more difficult to view them, Apple would have some obligation to publish it.

Is forcing someone to type in a URL what qualifies as censorship now?

Highly interesting and very important issue, much at stake. Limits to what is concidered bad taste or politically unacceptable varies a lot. For instance, European media deems it within limits to publish cartoons depicting (the prophet) Muhammad in satire, while US media is more reluctant.
Apple's approach likely to be influenced by local standards. If they could block or yank, as Compuserve years back blocked "breast" (and thereby cancer groups), freedom of speech is at risk.
