The organization also produces roundups of health care news throughout the industry called “Daily Reports.”
The Kaiser Family Foundation is independent from the health care giant Kaiser Permanente, but both were founded by Henry Kaiser. The confusion between the two organizations has raised ethical questions, though Kaiser Health News is not affiliated with Kaiser Permanente.
The Detroit Free Press and Detroit News are Michigan’s largest newspapers. Under a 1987 joint operating agreement, the Detroit Media Partnership publishes, distributes, and sells advertising for both papers.
