Vox’s mission, as Sharma and her team redefined it, is to still explain the news, but in a way that empowers people with the information and insight they need to understand the world around them.
“When I think about the kinds of stories I want us to do more of, it’s the kind of coverage that pushes people to have the conversations that lead to real change.”
The Post is looking to create a database of “supplements” — categorized pieces of text and graphics that help give context around complicated news topics — and add it as a contextual layer across lots of different Post stories.
