The head of a digital publishers’ trade association argues that Facebook can’t rebuild trust while continuing data practices that track its users all across the Internet — and beyond.

What’s clear is that Facebook has plenty of data from users already, which it can — will — use in conjunction with its two-question survey.
But they’re evenly split on whether or not the news selection algorithms on sites like Facebook and Twitter should be regulated.
