CTMirror, also known as the Connecticut Mirror, is a nonprofit online news organization that focuses on state public-interest news in Connecticut.
The site was launched in January 2010 with $1.8 million in funding and is run by the Connecticut News Project, a nonprofit group dedicated to coverage of state public policy and politics.
The Mirror has seven full-time staff members, six of them editorial, and one of those reporting from Washington, D.C. It is supported by at least seven foundations, as well as sponsorships and corporate underwriting. The site offers its stories to local news organizations for no charge.
The site introduced an opinion section in May 2010.
