Distance to Mars, a good argument for simple web interactives

It’s not news exactly — the fact that Mars is far away from Earth has been known for some time, after all — but David Paliwoda and Jesse Williams’ single-purpose site Distance to Mars is a nice example of using web technology to make information transfer into an experience.
