A new report from Meedan on health misinformation. “Health misinformation that users are consulting online is influencing vaccination rates and herd immunity, rates of antibiotic use, the adoption of response efforts in epidemics, and care-seeking for serious illnesses. The sharing of low-credibility content also leads to distrust—not only between health providers and their patients, but between communities and the health systems meant to serve them.”
