The New York Times is running its story Friday, while This American Life’s complementary report will air this weekend and be available for download as a podcast Sunday.
The Texas Tribune and Houston Chronicle are home to reporters for Reveal, helping to produce new stories for the radio show as it gets ready to go weekly in 2016.
The nonprofit investigative outlet is working to connect sources with journalists from other news organizations to further its reporting on how schools physically restrain students.
