With Lookout Local, our longtime news industry columnist Ken Doctor is going to apply what he’s learned to try to fill the growing void in local reporting.
With its BizLab project, the radio station has launched experiments in product management, station analytics, and blockchained music — all tying together today in a email-based podcast about exercise.
But: “I’ve tried to be really disciplined about not calling this process just a redesign,” WBUR’s executive editor for digital Tiffany Campbell said. “We’ve built a brand new platform.”
The station is putting together a team for BizLab, a project that will work outside of day-to-day operations to transform the public radio revenue strategy for digital.
With the ruling, the Knight News Challenge winner and judicial transparency project will be allowed to post video of public court proceedings online. Adrienne LaFrance
