Knight, along with the Mozilla and Ford foundations, will award $2.75 million for ideas that can “strengthen the Internet for free expression and innovation.”
Working with the Investigative News Network, Knight will provide microgrants of up to $35,000 for projects that help nonprofits and public media with technology, business, or operations. Justin Ellis
